Introduction & Step One
Scheduling of your webinar is the easy part. The key is considering the important steps in the process that can make or break a successful webinar:
- When to schedule
- Between 10am and 1pm is usually optimal. Consider time zones, too
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are the best days for attendance
- Audio Considerations
- Provide your attendees with multiple join options: Computer Audio and a dial-in number
- Add additional call-in countries based on your target list of attendees
- To provide attendees with a toll-free number, LogMeIn's OpenVoice Integrated Audio can be added to your account
- Branding
- Communicate your brand
- Create impact with your registration and waiting room pages
- Add guest speaker photos and bios
- Registration and Survey Questions
- Super important, but don't go overboard -- three to four questions, max
- Too many questions and registrants are more inclined to exit
- Interaction
- Try using the poll feature to engage your attendees
- Leverage the polls and informal Q&A via hand raising to break up content and gain additional information
- Have fun
